Do Good Gainesville("we," "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect throughdogoodgainesville.org, why we collect it, and how it's used.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Volunteer signups— name, phone, email, address (optional), and your answers on the Interests & Skills Survey (availability, interests, skills, and whether you're volunteering as an adult or with a parent/guardian).
- Project submissions— your organization's name and contact details, along with the project information you provide.
- Donations— your name and email, so we can send a receipt and say thank you. Payment card details are never seen or stored by us — they're handled entirely by Square (see below).
How We Use It
We use this information to match volunteers with projects, follow up on project submissions, process donations and apparel orders, and send confirmation emails related to those actions. We do not sell your information to anyone, for any reason.
Who We Share It With
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run the site, and your information may pass through them as part of that:
- Supabase — securely stores volunteer and project submission form data.
- Square — processes donations and apparel purchases. Square handles all payment card information directly — we never receive or store it.
- Postmark — delivers the confirmation and notification emails described above.
- Sanity — hosts the photos, videos, and stories you see on this site. It does not receive visitor information.
